Private sources told the Saudi newspaper “Al -Riyadiah” that the French Karim Benzema, captain of the Saudi Al -Ittihad team, recommended the club’s management to sign the Brazilian Casemiro, Manchester United midfielder, in a move aimed at strengthening the team’s stadium next season.

The Federation’s interest in contracting with Casemiro (33 years) comes in light of the team’s need for a midfielder who has great experience and integrated capabilities in defensive and offensive organization alike, and Benzema has a strong relationship with Cassimero that returns to their playing period together at Real Madrid from 2013 to 2022, where they participated together in 265 games and they won 7 important goals during those years.

This close relationship reflects Benzema’s great confidence in the capabilities of his former colleague, which prompted him to direct this recommendation to the management of Al -Ittihad, and this step comes as part of the strategic plan for the federation to strengthen its ranks in the midfield with a player that adds weight and experience in local and continental competitions, in light of the club’s ambitions to adhere to its position between adults and competition for titles.
